Stats for the kiddos!

On Wednesday both kids had their doctors apts. Lucy did really awesome. Jake on the other hand, poor guy. he had to have 3 shots, and had no nap all day long! So he was a trooper.

Lucy's 5 yr old stats::

Weight: 34 lbs. - 13%
Height: 42 3/4 - 57%
BP: 84/58

She is still tall and skinny! She is doing really well developmentally, and she is just a smart little girl! She only had to get one shot. She couldn't get the chicken pock and MMR immunizations because she is not allowed to have live virus shots while she is on her Enbrel. She was a champ!!

Jake's 1 yr old stats::

Weight: 23 lbs 7oz - 59%
Height: 29 1/2 - 40%
Head Circ: 18 1/2 - 67%

He is also going right along with his growth chart! He isn't quite as tall as Lucy was at this age. he has been walking since 9 months, he is doing all the things a 1 yr old should be doing! My kiddos are both doing well and I am such a proud mama. Jake hated his 3 shots... but who can blame him?

I cannot be more grateful for our pediatrician... he is the best!

tree time

Over the birthday weekend Uncle Cameron was here. We decorated the tree, watched Elf, and drank hot chocolate (tradition!)

But then... I taught the boys how to crochet. here is the incriminating picture!

They were so cute ....

Jake is always into the tree... but its alright I guess.

And here is our announcement!

Lucy's Birthday

Lucy requested chocolate chip waffles for her breakfast, so that is what she got!

Notice her little friends. Normally there are no toys allowed on the table, but hey, its her birthday!

Today we drove down to Idaho Falls and met some friends for lunch. Lucy played a ton. Then we went shopping. Lucy picked out a few things, 4 more ponies, and a new dress!

The sunset driving home was gorgeous! I had to take a picture.

Just wanted to take a picture of Lucy and ALL the ponies she got for her birthday this year. HOLY COW!

And no... she does NOT have them all. there are still 3 missing from her collection. Haha... But she loves them like they were her own children.

All in all I think the birthdays were a success, The kids were spoiled, and very Loved. Thanks to everyone!

OH... and let me not forget one more time to wish my beautiful Sister, Liz, a HAPPY HAPPY birthday as well!

Birthday Party

I cannot believe I have a 1 year old and  5 year old! time has been flying by!
Here are pictures from their birthday party.

Here is Jake at breakfast loving his balloons on his chair.

After a CRAZY time opening presents, we blew out candles and dug in! Lucy was such a patient girl.

Here is Jake, he was zoning a little, it was past his bed time at this point.

He did not disappoint.

These are out of order, and I am too lazy to change it... but here are the cakes BEFORE they were demolished.

Lucy and Uncle Cameron decorated her cake.

The mess AFTER....
My kids are so lucky to have such awesome family and friends. Thank you to Uncle Cam, and The Dutchers for coming for their party. They were spoiled this year. Thank you to the family that couldn't come, you were a big part in making this night special also. Thank goodness for Skype!

Lucy's Haircut

We finally took the plunge and got Lucy's hair cut. This was a sad day, but a much needed day.
we decided that we would let it grow until she agreed to get it cut. Today she did!

Look at those LONG curls!

Jake and Dad waited very patiently.

We love her short hair. She loves it too, now instead of looking like Rapunzel she looks like Dora?

She looks so grown up
