Last Thursday we had to take another trip down to Salt Lake for a Lucy check up with her Rheumatologist.
Lucy was pretty silly the whole time. Every time they asked her if a part of her body hurt, she said yes, but with a huge smile. They were not fooled :)
Jake was very patient... such a good boy.
Here is Lucy out by the front of the Hospital.
This place brings back so many memories....
I just thought this was cool... the light was shining down through the clouds.
Lucy's prognosis, she is doing well! All she had to do was get labs done, no x-rays this time (yay) They said that she could go off of her Methotraxate. But we will still be doing Enbrel shots once a week. And she only has to get labs done every 6 months. They also gave us permission to have the labs done here in Pocatello so we don't have to make the trip so often. My little girl is a trooper, I am so proud of how far she has come. Living with this disease is not easy for any of us, but She is dealing with it so well. I can't imagine what she must feel like every day. She hardly ever complains. What a miracle child!
While in Salt Lake we also caught Tyler's cousin, Kai's baseball game. They won 14-0!! Tyler and I got to have a date and Grandpa Haas took the kids for the night. Such a blessing, thank you so much!!! So we enjoyed our night of freedom, went out for frozen yogurt with Kai and his new wife Patty, and stopped in to visit his brother Cameron at his apartment! A storm rolled in so we ended up staying the night with Tyler's Dad. It was so much fun to see everyone!
